Why is everything free?

Neither of us has a daughter or granddaughter who will take over our family workshop. Rather than let our remaining pieces sit in boxes, we are giving every one of them away. You only cover the shipping.
When these pieces are gone, there won't be more. We hope one of them finds its way to you.
With love,

4 Reasons Women Have Worn Copper for
3,000 Years

A Tradition That Predates Medicine
From the master casters of Igbo-Ukwu to the kings and queens of the Copperbelt, copper has been worn against the skin for over 3,000 years — long before pharmacies existed.

Made for Daily Wear
Light enough to forget, heavy enough to feel. Our cuffs are hammered to be worn every day — in the shower, the garden, while you sleep — without ever taking them off.

Develops Your Patina
Real copper changes with you. Within weeks, your bracelet develops a patina unique to your skin — a quiet record of every day you've worn it. No two pieces ever look the same.

Heirloom by Hand
Two pieces a day. Hammered on a leather sandbag in our family workshop. 99.9% pure copper — the same purity worn for centuries. No machines. No coatings.
About Us
We are Amara and Nia — two sisters, and the fourth generation of our family to shape pure copper by hand.
Long before diamonds and gold filled store windows, copper was the most treasured metal across Africa. The master craftsmen of Igbo-Ukwu were casting it over a thousand years ago. The great Copperbelt gave its very name — Shaba, the word for copper — to the land itself.
That tradition crossed oceans with our family, and it never left us. Our great-grandmother passed it to our grandmother, who passed it to our mother, who passed it to us.
We're the last of our line to carry the craft. Every piece in this collection was shaped by our hands, one at a time — and once they're gone, we won't be making more.
10,000+ Women In Our Community Have Made Copper Part of Their Daily Life

“I bought those earrings expecting to wear them to church on Sundays. Now they're the first thing I put on in the morning and the last thing I take off. They just became part of me.”
Denise W.
“You can feel immediately this is real copper — the weight, the texture, the way it sits on your wrist. I've had plated bracelets before. This is completely different.”
Loretta J.
“Wore it every day for two months — through dishes, through work, through everything. Still looks like day one, just warmer. Real copper ages beautifully.”
Gloria M.
“My grandmother wore copper her whole life. When I read the sisters' story I cried a little. Wearing this feels like having her close again.”
Yvonne T.
“I was skeptical for years. My daughter finally convinced me to try it. Three weeks in, I stopped waking up with that stiffness in my fingers. I don't know exactly why. I just know I haven't taken it off.”
Bernice H.
Our Great-Grandmother Wore Copper Every Single Day.
Never took it off. Not in the kitchen. Not when she slept. Not even on Sunday mornings.
We called it habit. She called it heritage.
She kept copper close to her skin every day of her life — the same way her mother did, and her mother before her.
"Copper remembers where we come from, baby. Keep it close."
We didn't understand it when we were girls. Then we grew older and started really looking at her — and realized how gracefully she carried every year.
She had what we think so many women have lost: a thing she put on every morning that connected her to her mother, her grandmother, and every woman who came before them. A small daily ritual. Thousands of years old. No pills. No schedule. Nothing to remember.
Her copper bracelet is now on Nia's wrist.
Too late to tell her she was right. But not too late for you.
